Claressa Shields vs Hammer Boxing on April 13 in Atlantic City

It’s being billed as the biggest fight in the history of women’s boxing, which is a matter of opinion but of some relevance in that it’s a matchup seldom seen in a sport starving for attention.
Two-time Olympic Gold medal winner Claressa Shields will take on Christina Hammer on April 13 in Atlantic City for the undisputed women’s middleweight championship. The fight will be shown live on Showtime from Boardwalk Hall and has been supported by All-Access programming available on various digital platforms.
Shields (8-0, two knockouts) faces Hammer (24-0, 11 KOs) in a battle of unbeaten champions. Hammer normally fights in Germany, but took the fight because of the exposure.
The fight figures to be a good draw for Atlantic City, which is starting to settle into its new era of sports gambling. Shields versus Hammer is a 50-50 fight that should offer good value for the entertainment.
“These two fighters can be an example for a lot of male boxers,” said Tom Loeffler, Hammer’s adviser. “These are two undefeated fighters in their prime putting it all on the line to show who is the best. You don’t see that very often these days.“This is going to be a fun promotion. Claressa will be coming forward with her style and tenacity, going up against Christina’s experience. It’s for all the marbles.” you can watch to watch Shields vs Hammer live stream on sky sports
